Second Thursday of Advent Verse from the Common English Bible – Luke 2:21

It’s Thursday of Week Two of Advent and here’s the corresponding Bible passage from the new Common English Bible translation as part of my participation in the “Thank You – Come Again – I Promise” blog tour.

Thursday – Luke 2:21

v When eight days had passed, Jesus’ parents circumcised him and gave him the name Jesus. This was the name given to him by the angel before he was conceived. (CEB)
